This Gift Show is known for being one of the most practical tradeshows and is held twice each year. The opening ceremony was held September 2nd with the participation of 2200 exhibitors from both Japan and abroad, and the expo was comprised of around 30 fairs that were focused primarily on the display of new, tasteful designs that blend well with our everyday lifestyles. The 51st Active Design Craft Fair featured an active design corner and design collections created with superior lifestyle oriented design aspects even for ordinary people. Various special events were also held including the Hawaiian World Healing Space, the Robot Showcase that featured a lineup of entertainment robots, and an Asia Trade Promotion Forum (ATPF) that included the participation of 28 nations from abroad. Traditional and modern Japanese brands that included interior goods designed with a Japanese taste were also showcased.
